Title II: Professional Development and Recruiting
Iberia Parish uses this funding to fund sixteen (16) additional teachers to lower the pupil-teacher ratio, or to provide reading intervention. The program goal is to provide teachers with updated instructional teaching techniques which will enable them to carry out their teaching assignments. Training is provided to teachers in grades K-12 in both public and non-public schools. Training is coordinated by district curriculum supervisors:
K-3: Pam Landry
4-6: Audrey Ausberry
7-12: (English / Social Studies)

7-12: (Math / Science)
Charlotte Olivier
Class size reduction teachers are assigned to schools based on pupil-teacher ratios, availability of space and school poverty levels.
