Healthy School Food Collaborative Meals

hsfc hat logo

Dear Parent or Guardian,

The Iberia Parish School District would like for all students to continue receiving nutritious meals during this school closure.  We are pleased to announce a partnership with The Healthy School Food Collaborative.  The Healthy School Food Collaborative is committed to providing healthy, sustainable meals to students, families and communities in order to improve the nutritional impact in education.  Meals will be delivered to your home (free of charge). Any child enrolled in the Iberia Parish School District is eligible to participate in the program. Children between the ages of 1 and 18 years of age are eligible.  At least one child per household must be enrolled in an Iberia Parish Public School.

We will have an open enrollment period that ends every Thursday. Anyone who has completed a form by Thursday will be placed on the following week’s delivery schedule. Parents only need to enroll once. Deliveries have been delayed. Some deliveries will begin Friday, April 17, 2020 and  will continue over the next several days. Families can expect a meal package every 7 days.

Please note:  The company has experienced a supply shortage  of some of the shelf stable items that are in high demand. Please read the letter from the CEO of HSFC. They are working tirelessly to address this. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

Once you sign up, you will receive a delivery once a week that contains breakfast and lunch meals for 5 days. Meals are shelf stable and do not require any refrigeration.

How do you sign up?  Simply fill out an online application and submit it ASAP.  Access the form by clicking on this link:

For any questions or assistance with the application, please call The Healthy School Food Collaborative Helpline during the hours of 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 PM at (504) 322-1188.
